A key conclusion emerging from the field visits in Rwanda was the need to reduce the use of firewood for cooking in schools. Solar energy solutions offer significant potential to support this transition, helping to curb deforestation, lower CO₂ emissions, and create a more sustainable and climate-friendly learning environment.
